Hanac Pachap is a processional hymn in the Quechua language of Peru. It was written by an anonymous native composer and later published by the Franciscan scholar Juan Pérez Bocanegra in 1631. It is the first example of polyphony printed in the Americas. The piece is a product of an intersection of European and Native culture as well as Catholic and Pagan religions during a time of conquest.

The attached performance video was recorded by the Glendale Community College Guitar Orchestra under the direction of Chuck Hulihan.
