Commissioned by ACGS for the 2012 Loudoun County Public Schools All-County Middle School Guitar Festival, “Three Latin Dances” requires a variety of skills from students. Parts 2 and 3 use multi-voice playing and simple slurs. Part 1 is for an advanced level 8 player. This part focuses on shifting and upper position reading in the 2nd, 5th, and 7th positions. The sequence document includes a refresher on upper position reading.
