Españoleta by Gaspar Sanz is a multi level piece that can serve to reinforce elements of note reading or alternation. As a level 2 piece; it will test first position reading on the top 3 strings, as well as some new notes taught by rote. As a level 3 piece; it will be a good exercise in alternation of a melodic line and is recommended that each student learns part 1.
