During the 2025–2026 season, Grisha Goryachev served as Austin Classical Guitar's Artist-in-Residence. Guided by ACG's season theme, Spark, the residency explored the transformative power of music to ignite curiosity, creativity, and personal expression.

As part of the residency, Grisha collaborated with the GuitarCurriculum.com team to create this collection of original flamenco music written specifically for classroom guitar students. The project represents a rare opportunity for young musicians to learn directly from one of today's great flamenco artists through music composed especially for educational settings.

The collection includes both solo and ensemble works that introduce students to the rhythms, techniques, and expressive language of flamenco while remaining accessible to developing guitarists with a classical background. The project is organized by the specific pieces that Grisha composed and includes tutorial videos linked by QR codes that explore general flamenco techniques, as well as specific technical and stylistic aspects of the individual works.
